この辺りは武田勝頼公が織田・徳川の軍と最後の激戦を交えた武田家終焉の地として知られる。
「竜門の滝」のほか、「落合三つの滝」や「千賀の岩」、「天狗淵」などが点在し、多くの渓谷美が堪能できる。
