本栖湖（もとすこ）は、山梨県南都留郡富士河口湖町及び南巨摩郡身延町に跨いで存在する湖。富士五湖の一つで、五湖の最西端に位置し富士五湖の中で最大となる121.6mの水深がある。
千円紙幣E号券、五千円紙幣D号券の裏面に描かれる逆さ富士のモデルとして有名である。
